*9/25: The Eye, The Mind, The Sword, & The Shadow*
The Kouri Bastion: a rather peculiar and massive structure built into the mountain side in the tundra, shaped by snow and ice. It's sole purpose was to hold a particular troll. Some viewed it as a glorified prison. Others knew it for it's true purpose: a save haven for said troll to recover. It had once been at the pinnacle of power, but an event 2 years ago or so changed everything. It was so sudden and unexplainable for a long time.
Only a sole troll served as this legend's and it's bastion's guard: a blind Gimme-er known as Raq. He too had once been quite powerful, but this event had left him, if not better anyways, still without much of his prowess.
It was certainly a lonely gig. But, things weren't quite the same as they had been since meeting two very ambitious Xiankla.
Raq shook his head and looked out towards the sky. Nothing greeted him but utter darkness. Some enjoyed the 'shining ray of hope,' but this nothingness was about the same to him. He tightened his red blindfold and let the long, extra material catch in the cold breeze.
"Looks like you found the place alright, Erza. Dahgma," Raq said, never taking his attention from the sky. Before him were the two Xianklas. The female, Erza, had an aura about her the commanded respected and demonstrated both power and wisdom that was alone enough to make him respect her. The second Xiankla was less easy to ready. He was what Raq himself felt: an indiscernible shadow.
"Unfortunately, I don't see my father, Vigil, being ready anytime soon. The most he can do is speak with is. By the solstice, he should return to full power. As it stands now though, it's going to be a long 87 days," Raq stated. He motioned for Erza and Dahgma to follow him.
"I don't see it a problem, Raq. Fall is only upon us now. We have plenty of time to enact our plan," Dahgma stated. "Erza is nearing completion in her task."
"Yes. I have identified nearly all of the Sins. With their... 'help,' we will reverse the event from 2 years ago," Erza stated. Raq led the two down a long hallway. Unlike a normal castle, it wasn't festooned with various, lavish decorations. You could say it was also like a glorified cave of ice, and a very big one at that.
"Ah, the Sins. I love the whole thing behind it," Raq jokingly mocked. "Sorry, was that insensitive? Ahem, anyway, as far as I understand, the Sins may just end up killing each other. Our little pawn, Gluttony, is undergoing his plan as we speak. If Nassik can't defeat Sin, or to be less confusing, should I just call him Pride? Envy will surly be his end."
"Many Sins, it seems, have gathered in one location. It took a lot of investigation, but I believe Sloth is with him as well," Erza added.
"Which leaves Lust and Wrath," Dahgma stated.
Raq stopped just before Vigil's chamber.
"Wrath... are you sure that Wrath even exists? That day, six fragments were accounted for, but not that one. We've known Lust and Greed to exist, but Lust has jumped between several trolls and Greed has been out of commission much of these 2 years. He could even be dead for all we know."
"Let us speak with The Eye, Raq. We'll seek out his wisdom."
The Gimme-er sighed.
"Just don't say I didn't warn you: my dad, Vigil, doesn't like company."
